Attleboro: An arrest has been made in connection with a fatal shooting in Massachusetts that police say was drug-related. The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says Christopher Johnson, of Attleboro, was charged Tuesday with misleading a criminal investigation. It was not immediately known if he has an attorney.
A 69-year-old man rescued from his fire-damaged house in the Old Hill neighborhood Tuesday afternoon has died of his injuries, fire officials said Tuesday night. Dennis Leger, aide to Fire Commissioner Joseph Conant, said the still-unidentified man was found in the burned-out basement of the 88 Melrose St. home. Leger said the fire appeared to have started in the basement.

Lowell, Massachusetts shooting at Broadway St: no casualities
Two people remained missing Tuesday morning after a fishing boat sank about 10 miles off the coast of Nantucket. The Coast Guard says it received a distress call from the 69-foot Misty Blue around 6 p.m. Monday. A nearby fishing boat rescued two of the four crew members and took them to a Coast Guard vessel, but two remained missing.
Massachusetts police are searching for two men wanted in connection with the shooting of a man in Attleboro on Monday night. The Sun Chronicle reports that officers responded to a home on South Avenue just before 11 p.m. after a man reported his brother had been shot.

Firefighters are batting a two-alarm fire at a home in Boston. The fire started just before 8 a.m. at 13 Gaston St. in the city's Dorchester neighborhood.

Police in Massachusetts are investigating after a 68-year-old man apparently accidentally shot his grandson in the chest during target practice. Southbridge police said on Facebook that the 22-year-old grandson was taken to the hospital after the shooting at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Falmouth police said a two-car crash left one person dead. A BMW collided with a pickup truck pulling a trailer on Route 151 near Sam Turner Road at about noon Wednesday. The crash left one person dead and three hurt. No names were released.
A bank robbery suspect is in police custody after authorities say he tried to make a smelly escape in a portable toilet. Police say 41-year-old Steven Spolidoro, of Woburn, walked into a Revere bank around 1 p.m. Wednesday and demanded money. He allegedly fled the bank with about $1,000 cash.

The driver who crashed into a pizza restaurant last year is in court Monday, trying to convince the judge that he doesn't deserve to go to jail. Tom Giblin, an attorney representing Brad Casler, said there will be no change of plea Monday. Instead, he asked the judge to decide what Casler's sentence would be if he pleads guilty in the future.
Boston: A teenager died and another teen was injured late Monday night in a double shooting in South Boston. The shooting happened at 11:30 p.m. outside a residence on O’Callaghan Way. Two teen boys were shot. The victims’ names have not been released
