Police are searching for a woman who they say was involved in an armed robbery on Sunday. According to Fall River police, officers responded to reports of an armed robbery around 3:50 a.m. on Jan. 7 at Irving and Pleasant Streets.
Police said a person is dead after a shooting just one block away from Boston Police headquarters. The incident was reported Thursday afternoon on Whittier Street, near the corner of Tremont and Ruggles Streets.

Quincy police say they have located a non-verbal 16-year-old boy with autism reported missing early Monday morning. Police said the teen was believed to have left his home on Hillcrest Street area (Squantum) sometime overnight

After more than two months, Boston police have made an arrest in connection with a deadly shooting in Dorchester. Twenty-eight-year-old Marquis Martin from Roxbury was taken into custody at a hotel in Rhode Island. Martin has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of David Cole back in October 2017.
A 1-year-old girl was attacked by the family pit bull Sunday morning. Falmouth police said officers responded to a residence on Brick Kiln Road at 8:54 a.m. for a report of a child attacked by a dog. Police said a preliminary investigation indicates the child was playing in the kitchen with her father nearby when the family's pit bull terrier attacked the child and bit her in the face, which caused major trauma.
Four Boston residents have been displaced from their home following a residential fire. Fire officials say the blaze in the city's Dorchester neighborhood started at around 4 a.m. Saturday in a two-and-a-half story structure. Chief Andre Stallworth said frigid temperatures presented challenges to battling the flames and heavy smoke.
