Woburn: A 48-year-old woman from Kennebunk died in a car crash in Woburn Saturday evening. Massachusetts State Police said the crash happened around 5:10 p.m. on Interstate 93 North near exit 37 A in Woburn. Police said the woman was driving and struck an SUV from behind.

A man wanted in connection with an indecent assault in the city's North End last week is due in court Monday. Isaiah Brown, 26, of Randolph, was is facing charges in connection with the incident that happened early Friday morning near Hanover Street.
Braintree: A man was found dead after a fire in Braintree Sunday night, according to the city's deputy fire chief. The fire broke out just before 11 p.m. in a home at 62 Nicholas Road. Police officers were able to rescue two residents, but a third was unaccounted for.

Blackstone: Police are investigating after an explosive device damaged a car. Officers were called to a home on Lakeshore Drive at about 6:15 p.m. Thursday. The homeowner told them he had hear a loud bang, and then noticed extensive damage to his car.

Springfield: A judge has reduced bail for a Connecticut man authorities say was driving an SUV that crashed in Massachusetts earlier this year, killing four passengers. The Republican newspaper reports that a judge Tuesday reduced Aaron Thorne's bail to $25,000 cash from $50,000.

Fall River: The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office has identified the victim in the officer-involved shooting. The DA’s office says that an officer responded to a disturbance on Riggenbach Road near Airport Road at approximately 11:37 p.m. Sunday. The officers observed several cars leaving the area. The first responding officer tried stopping a car from leaving the scene.

Police have not released any information about what happened, but relatives and friends said a police officer shot and killed the man in the intersection of Airport Road and Riggenbach.
A taxi driver was carjacked Sunday night at the Square One Mall in Saugus, Massachusetts, police said. Saugus Police were sent to the Dick’s Sporting Goods at 1201 Broadway around 6:45 p.m. Sunday after someone called 911 from the store. Police said the caller reported that a man had ran from the store and may be carrying merchandise.
