Intense fire on Delford St in Boston overnight. A neighbor helped save a mother & her two children from a second floor window when they were trapped by the flames. The neighbor used a mattress to help catch the family as they jumped from the window. Hear from that neighbor at 9AM
2 year agoBoston Fire Dept.:5 adults and 4 children were displaced by the fire at 10-12 Delford St. BFD-FIU is on scene investigating v the cause of the fire. Damages estimated at 1 million dollars.
Boston Fire Dept.:A heroic job by the next door neighbor to save a mother and her 2 children who were trapped on the 2nd floor by heavy fire at the 3 alarm fire on Delford st. He put a mattress down for them to jump as he caught the 5 year old that the mother dropped out the window to him
Deputies said a father and daughter stabbed the animal with a pitchfork and left it for dead, but upon finding it alive after returning from lunch, they set the animal on fire and killed it
