2 year agoThe MFD responded to a structure fire at the corner of Forest Street and Woodrow Ave. The fire went to 2 alarms and included mutual aid responses from Malden, and Arlington. The cause is currently unknown, and as of this writing, there are no reported injuries

Intense fire on Delford St in Boston overnight. A neighbor helped save a mother & her two children from a second floor window when they were trapped by the flames. The neighbor used a mattress to help catch the family as they jumped from the window. Hear from that neighbor at 9AM
2 year agoBoston Fire Dept.:5 adults and 4 children were displaced by the fire at 10-12 Delford St. BFD-FIU is on scene investigating v the cause of the fire. Damages estimated at 1 million dollars.
Boston Fire Dept.:A heroic job by the next door neighbor to save a mother and her 2 children who were trapped on the 2nd floor by heavy fire at the 3 alarm fire on Delford st. He put a mattress down for them to jump as he caught the 5 year old that the mother dropped out the window to him
Deputies said a father and daughter stabbed the animal with a pitchfork and left it for dead, but upon finding it alive after returning from lunch, they set the animal on fire and killed it
